WDC’s 2023 Christmas Charity: GMYN
This December, we’re supporting an amazing charity: Greater Manchester Youth Network (GMYN). They provide support for care-experienced young people aged between 10-25 in the Greater Manchester area.
Christmas can be a very isolating time, particularly for those who don’t have a family network. GMYN are committed to offering care, friendship, and material support for young people in need. This year this includes hosting a Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day with gifts, fun and games, plus daytime and evening activities from late December through to the New Year, ensuring young people are not alone over the Christmas and New Year period.
The whole WDC team are fundraising during December, with our own Christmas Jumper Day on 14th December. We have also volunteered our support by creating a suite of assets for social media that GMYN can use to promote their Christmas Giving campaign.
