The Louisiana Museum of Modern Art located on the coast in Humlebæk, 22 miles north of Copenhagen, Denmark. One of the most impressive aspects is the building itself. It is a beautiful example of mid 20th Century Danish modernism, with long swooping corridors, spacious rooms, lots of natural light and beautiful attention to detail in all the furniture and fittings. This is all underpinned by an understated material palette that allows the artwork to shine whilst remaining interesting. Well worth a visit…
